Account & Login
How do I create an account?
Open the nuvó app and tap "Get Started" on the welcome screen. Enter your name, email, and password to create your account. You'll be guided through a quick onboarding to set up your first coaching session.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive an email with a link to set a new password. The link is valid for 1 hour. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact us at support@nuvo.coach.
How do I delete my account?
Send an email to support@nuvo.coach requesting account deletion. We will delete all your personal data, including goals, messages, and progress data, within 30 days. Please cancel any active subscriptions through Apple or Google before requesting deletion.
Goals & Coaching
How many goals can I have?
Free users can have up to 3 active goals (1 per domain: Happy, Healthy, Wealthy). PRO users can have up to 50 active goals across all domains (subject to fair use policy).
How do the AI coaches work?
Each coach has a unique personality, style, and approach. They use advanced AI to have natural conversations about your goals, provide encouragement, and suggest actionable steps. Free users have access to 3 coaches; PRO users can use all 6 coaches plus create custom ones.
Are the coaches real people?
No. All coaches are AI-powered fictional characters. They are not real people and their advice should not be taken as professional medical, psychological, or financial guidance.
What are custom coaches?
PRO users can create up to 2 custom AI coaches with their own name, personality, and coaching style. Custom coaches are great for creating a coach that matches your unique preferences or goals.
Is the coaching real professional advice?
No. nuvó provides AI-powered coaching for general motivation and personal growth. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or financial advice. If you need professional help, please consult a qualified professional.
What are daily check-in nudges?
nuvó sends you smart push notifications with personalized check-ins related to your active goals. Free users receive one daily nudge. PRO users can receive up to two per day. You can adjust the frequency in your Profile settings.
Subscription & Payment
What's included in the free plan?
The free plan includes 3 active goals (1 per domain), 8 coach messages per day, 3 AI goal generations per month, daily nudges, and access to 3 AI coaches. Both English and Dutch languages are available, along with light and dark mode.
What do I get with PRO?
PRO unlocks generous usage limits (up to 100 messages/day, 50 goals, 30 AI generations/month), all 6 coaches, custom coach creation (up to 2 custom coaches), on-demand check-ins, and our premium GPT-4o AI model for more nuanced coaching conversations. All subject to our fair use policy.
How much does PRO cost?
PRO is available for €4.99 per month or €39.99 per year (that's €3.33/month — a 33% savings).
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple or Google. To cancel:
- iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → nuvó → Cancel
- Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → nuvó → Cancel
You'll keep PRO access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com (Apple) or Google Play Help (Android) to request a refund.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Open the app, go to the upgrade screen, and tap "Restore Purchases". Your subscription will be restored automatically if it's still active in your Apple or Google account.
What is the fair use policy?
PRO subscriptions include generous limits designed for normal personal use: up to 100 coach messages per day, 30 AI goal generations per month, and 50 active goals. These limits are well beyond typical usage. We reserve the right to throttle accounts that engage in automated or abusive usage. See our Terms of Service for details.
Technical Issues
The app is not loading / showing errors
Try the following steps:
- Close and reopen the app
- Check your internet connection
- Update the app to the latest version in the App Store or Google Play
- Restart your device
If the issue persists, email us at support@nuvo.coach with a description of the problem and your device type.
I'm not receiving push notifications
Make sure notifications are enabled for nuvó in your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → Notifications → nuvó → Allow Notifications
- Android: Settings → Apps → nuvó → Notifications → Enable
How do I switch between English and Dutch?
Go to your Profile (bottom right tab) and tap on the Language option. You can switch between English and Dutch at any time. This is available for all users, including free accounts.
